About the project

Gastropreneurs aims to empower young people — with special attention to NEETs — to develop entrepreneurship skills in the field of gastronomy, promoting sustainable, local, and inclusive development in both rural and urban contexts.

Framework

The project embraces the idea that gastronomy is not only culture and creativity, but also an engine for innovation, sustainability, and employment. Through an engaging learning experience based on the principles of slow food and social responsibility, Gastropreneurs supports young people to turn their culinary passions into real business opportunities, while revitalizing local communities and preventing youth migration to big cities.

Key points of the project:

To achieve this goal, the consortium will implement a wide range of activities that combine education, innovation, and digital transformation, including:

Development of a specialized Entrepreneurship Training Curriculum in Gastronomy.

Creation of a Digital Learning Platform offering tailored training content and practical resources.

Production of Success Story videos and a Gastropreneurship Roadmap to inspire young entrepreneurs.

Design of a Strategy Reference Form and Handbook for youth workers to improve guidance and mentoring.

Implementation of a comprehensive Dissemination Strategy, ensuring sustainability and visibility across Europe.
