GASTROPRENEURS
This result establishes the pedagogical foundation of the project. The Gastronomy Specified Entrepreneurship Training Curriculum defines the essential knowledge, competences, and entrepreneurial mindset required to succeed in the gastronomy sector. It combines practical business management, culinary innovation, sustainability principles, and digital skills.
The curriculum will be structured around real-life learning units inspired by the slow food philosophy and the idea of gastronomy as a sustainable driver for local economies. It aims to equip young learners — particularly NEETs — with the capacity to identify opportunities, design viable business models, and create added value within their territories.
It will also serve as a European reference document for youth workers and educators who want to integrate entrepreneurship education into their training activities.
This result translates the curriculum into concrete, interactive training materials. The Gastropreneurship Training Content will include online modules, case studies, digital tools, and multimedia resources designed to facilitate both self-learning and guided education.
The training materials will be hosted on the project’s digital platform, and they will combine theoretical insights with practice-oriented exercises, promoting creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. Special emphasis will be placed on green entrepreneurship, digital transition, food sustainability, and circular economy approaches within gastronomy.
By engaging young people through accessible and motivational methods, this output will contribute to bridging the gap between education, entrepreneurship, and employability.
In this result, real experiences take centre stage. The Success Stories Themed Interview Videos will feature inspiring testimonials from young entrepreneurs, chefs, and professionals who have turned their culinary ideas into successful businesses.
Each story will highlight not only the achievements but also the personal challenges, lessons learned, and creative processes behind each initiative. These narratives will be gathered into the Gastropreneurship Roadmap, a comprehensive visual and textual guide showing how to transform ideas into sustainable projects, from concept development to marketing and digital promotion.
The combination of video storytelling and practical guidance aims to motivate young people, showing them that entrepreneurship in gastronomy is both attainable and rewarding when built upon passion, resilience, and community values.
This result focuses on empowering those who work directly with young people. The Gastropreneurship Strategy Reference Form and Handbook for Youth Workers will provide a set of guidelines, recommendations, and methodologies for youth professionals, educators, and counsellors.
It will serve as a practical tool to support them in delivering effective entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and coaching activities. The handbook will include adaptable templates, lesson plans, assessment tools, and examples of good practice, enabling youth workers to integrate gastronomy entrepreneurship into their educational programmes.
By strengthening the professional competences of youth workers, this output ensures the sustainability of the project’s impact, helping future generations of young people to engage in meaningful and creative professional paths.
