The Gastropreneurs project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, continues to progress with the successful development of the Learning Outcomes Matrix, a key milestone within Work Package 2: Gastronomy-Specified Entrepreneurship Training Curriculum.
Implemented between May 2025 and August 2027 across France, Italy, Spain and Turkey, Gastropreneurs aims to empower young people through innovative training in gastronomy entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on sustainability and the “slow food” philosophy.
The Learning Outcomes Matrix has been designed as a comprehensive framework that defines the structure of the future training programme. It includes 10 Learning Units and outlines the expected learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and autonomy and responsibility, in alignment with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF Level 5).
This document is the result of a collaborative effort among project partners, based on national analyses conducted in each participating country. These analyses allowed the consortium to identify key challenges, opportunities, and training needs related to youth entrepreneurship and gastronomy.
The Matrix serves as a reference tool for youth workers, public institutions, NGOs and training providers, ensuring that the future training content developed under Work Package 3 responds to real needs and contributes to meaningful learning outcomes.
By combining entrepreneurship, sustainability and digital innovation, Gastropreneurs aims to support rural revitalisation, reduce youth migration to urban areas, and create new opportunities in the field of gastronomy.
The development of the Learning Outcomes Matrix marks a crucial step towards the creation of high-quality, inclusive and impactful training resources for young people across Europe.
